The analysis runs on rules extracted from real USCIS notices - RFEs, NOIDs and I-140 denials - not from general advice. They yield the grounds on which officers strike out each criterion: no external corroboration, a link instead of a copy of the page, a non-comparable basis for salary, material about a topic rather than about the petitioner.
Deterministic rules run first: they are free, reproducible and do not depend on an AI being available. A language model is a separate layer on top of a finished analysis - the project’s logic is that the tool stays useful without it.
The RFE risk reading is based on which criteria were challenged most often in the parsed cases: across 253 coded cases, original contribution was accepted in 4% of the cases where it was claimed, membership in 12%, awards in 14%, high salary in 14%, and judging in 59%.
Distilled from the public community chats, anonymised; corpus as of June 2026. These are participants' observations, not legal advice and not USCIS statistics.
